Wellbel Women+ is physician-formulated to help target the root causes behind compromised hair health, leading up to and during menopause. That said, women over 45 who have not yet experienced perimenopause or menopause would likely still benefit from the Women+ formulation.
What is the difference between Wellbel Women & Wellbel Women+?
Wellbel Women+ includes many of the same physician-backed ingredients as our original formula, with the addition of copper and zinc, increased levels of saw palmetto and MSM, as well as vitamin K2 and stinging nettle leaf to help address women’s hormonal needs as they age and begin to experience perimenopause and menopause.

What is the risk of too much biotin?
Wellbel contains 500 micrograms of biotin, which is included to support general hair, skin, and nail health. We use significantly less biotin than other supplements, as higher doses can contribute to breakouts or interfere with blood work results (such as thyroid and cardiac markers). Excess biotin has also been reported to cause mild side effects such as stomach upset or headaches. Biotin deficiency is rare, so we do not recommend taking a separate biotin supplement. However, if you have any concerns, it’s always best to consult your healthcare provider.
