Today, I’m answering the most frequently asked questions from our community.

One of the questions I hear most often is, "I've been taking Wellbel for a few weeks. Why haven't I noticed a difference yet?"

It's a fair question. When you're investing in your health and taking a hair growth supplement, waiting can feel frustrating—especially in a world that promises overnight results.

The truth is, healthy hair follows biology, not marketing timelines. My goal is to explain what's happening beneath the surface, so you know what to realistically expect.

Why does it take 3 to 4 months to see results?

There isn't one ingredient that suddenly makes hair healthier overnight. Healthy hair is built gradually, using nutrients your body must first digest, absorb, transport, and then direct toward growing stronger strands. That process takes time. There are two reasons for that. 

The first little known reason: schedules.

Your hair follicles are all on different schedules. Most people imagine their scalp growing hair all at once. It doesn't.

Your scalp is home to thousands of individual hair follicles, and each one operates on its own timeline. While one follicle is actively growing a strand of hair, the one beside it may be resting. Another may be preparing to shed.

Every follicle moves through its own natural hair growth cycle: an active growth phase called anagen, a brief transition phase called catagen, and a resting phase called telogen. A follicle has to return to that active growth phase before it can fully respond to the nutrients you're providing. If a follicle is resting today, no supplement can force it to skip ahead in line. It has to follow its natural cycle.


In fact, the hair you see today actually began developing months ago. By the time a new strand becomes visible above your scalp, much of the work has already happened beneath the surface. That's why meaningful changes don't happen in a few weeks. You're working with your biology, not against it.

The second reason almost nobody talks about: digestion.

When I formulated Wellbel, I focused on something many supplements overlook: absorption.

Taking nutrients isn't the same as using them. Your body first has to digest, absorb, and transport those nutrients before they can support healthy hair. And because hair isn't essential for survival, it's one of the last places your body directs nutrients.

That's why I included betaine HCl in our Women's and Women+ formulas. By supporting healthy stomach acid and protein digestion, it helps your body access the amino acids needed to build keratin, collagen, and elastin, the foundation of healthy, resilient hair.

Supporting digestion wasn't an extra feature. It was part of supporting the entire process.

What's happening while you think nothing is happening?

This is the part I wish more people understood. Just because you can't see change yet doesn't mean your body isn't working.

Month 1: This is the foundation. Your body is digesting nutrients, absorbing vitamins and minerals, and delivering those building blocks where they're needed. Hair follicles entering a new growth cycle are beginning to receive the support they need, but everything important is still happening below the surface. You probably won't notice much in the mirror yet, and that's completely normal.

Months 2-3 : This is often when the first encouraging signs begin to appear. Many people tell us their nails suddenly feel stronger. Others notice healthier-looking skin, less hair breakage, tiny baby hairs around the hairline, or that their hair simply feels shinier and softer. These are often the first signs that your body is responding to consistent nutritional support, potentially from a hair growth supplement.


Everyone's timeline is a little different. Someone experiencing postpartum hair loss may notice changes differently than someone navigating perimenopause or menopause hair loss, stress-related hair loss, or general age-related hair thinning. Your starting point matters, and so does where your follicles are in their growth cycle.

Months 3 to 4: This is when patience often begins paying off. Hair has had enough time to move through its natural cycle, and many people begin noticing fuller-looking ponytails, improved density, stronger strands, less shedding, and hair that simply feels healthier overall.

For some, the change is gradual. Others suddenly catch their reflection one day and realize their part looks a little narrower, their ponytail feels fuller, or their hair has regained some of the shine and strength they hadn't seen in years.

Healthy hair isn't built overnight. It's built one growth cycle at a time.

Give your biology the same grace you'd give anything else worth waiting for. One of the most rewarding parts of my work is hearing from someone months later who says, "I almost gave up," and then noticed their hair felt stronger, their ponytail felt fuller, or they caught their reflection and realized something had changed.
